Bettina is a practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology since 2006 and is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. Her training consisted of over 3000 hours of clinical and academic work over the course of four years. She holds a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine as well as a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and has participated in numerous intensive courses of study in Beijing, China with well reputed Dr Ju Yi Wang, author of Applied Channel Theory in Chinese Medicine. She is Licensed by the State of New York and holds Board Certification in Acupuncture and Herbology. She has a high reverence for the traditions and cultures of Asia and has lived in Japan and Nepal.
Bettina officially began her studies of essential oils in 2015 and is a certified aromatherapist by the New York Institute of Aromatic Studies. She has also studied a technique known as Aroma Point Therapy, which is the application of essential oils on acupuncture points, with Tiffany Carole Pollard. In 2018 she embarked on a year long program with this same teacher, called Master Healer, which explores a fusion of Chinese medicine with essential oils, shamanism, psychology, and energy medicine. Bettina has been studying a system of energy healing and meditation known as Awakening Your Light Body with Diane Goldner since 2016. In 2019 she began a year long training in Craniosacral Therapy with the Great River Craniosacral Therapy Institute.
Bettina maintains a strong connection with the Montauk community, of which she's been a part since childhood. She has been practicing yoga and meditation since 1997 and believes in living a healthy, balanced and well-rounded life.
